About the job
As a Sales Development Representative you will be working on new outbound strategies to target and acquire customers. You will be closely working with Sales team and the founder to learn and grow as an SDR.
On a day to day basis you will be involved in following tasks:
- Generate conversations with potential buyers via phone and email outreach
- Familiar with using lead generation tools and CRM is a plus
- Conform to best practices for sales development/business development with regards to telephone calls, e-mails, and in-person contact with new prospects
- Follow up on marketing qualified leads
- Coordinate meetings with sales executives, and dutifully log all activities in our CRM
Being meticulous and go-getter is crucial to ace in this role. Having great communication skills will help you iterate faster and improve your conversions. You will be guided on the basics and best practices followed at WittyPen but in long run your efforts will shape the entire process. Below are the skills/requirements which would make you a good fit for this job.
- A fundamental understanding of the sales process, from marketing through prospecting, generating interest, and handing off to sales
- Demonstrated ability to articulate unique value propositions and persuade prospects
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with senior level executives
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
- You’re a storyteller by nature
Pay and benefits
This is a fully remote, full-time (40-hour per week) position and you can choose your own work hours during the day. You can also choose to work from our office in Pune, once it re-opens (after the pandemic is under control). All we ask is for you to be available when there are team activities, which are usually scheduled on Wednesdays every week.
The salary for this position is between ₹260,000 - ₹420,000 INR based on experience and expertise. We will also pay for necessary equipment, if needed.
We believe in working asynchronously and don't believe in you being online for a fixed time period every day. We don't track work hours either. What we only expect is that the work allocated to you should be completed before deadlines. We are stringent with deadlines.
The hiring cycle will be open till 30th April, 2021 (11 PM) IST. During this time you will hear back from us and there will be 2-3 rounds of interview on Google Meet.
